Krakatau is one of volcanoes of the volcanic arc. Krakatau is location in the sunda strait, of the west coast of java on the island of in Indonesia. This eruption destroyed the volcano of krakatau which collapsed and formed a four-mile wide caldera. The island of Lang is remnants of this older volcano.
